Breslow pergola privacy walls — built to block one sightline.

Most yards have exactly one angle that ruins them: a neighbour's window, a road, the house next door. A privacy wall is designed to close that angle and nothing else, in the same trim package as the structure it belongs to.

How We Build It

Privacy Walls, designed in from the first drawing.

Every one of these is planned with the structure — wired inside the frame, sized to your space, and controlled alongside the roof. That is the difference between an accessory and an afterthought.

Accessories are priced with the project, not bolted on after.

Size drives the investment first, then attachment to the house, then what you add. The pergola page publishes the full range — from around $65,000 for a 16 × 20 ft system — and exactly what that figure includes. See what it costs and what you get.

Before You Book

Privacy Walls — the questions people ask.

How tall can a privacy wall be?
Tall enough to do the job — which is usually less than people expect. We check the sightline from where you actually sit and stand, and design to that. Some towns treat a tall wall as a structure, and we confirm what yours requires before anything is ordered.
Slatted or solid?
Slatted, in almost every case. The gap between slats blocks the view at an angle while still letting air through, so the space stays comfortable. A solid panel traps heat and looks like a fence.
Can I mount a TV or a fireplace on it?
Yes, and it is the natural place for both. We set the blocking, conduit and power during the build.
Privacy wall or motorized screens?
A wall is permanent and architectural — best where the view never changes. Screens close on demand and retract out of sight, which suits the sides you want open most of the time. Plenty of projects use both.
Does it match the pergola?
Yes. The wall is built in the same trim package as the columns and fascia, in the same finish, so the whole structure reads as one design.
